Best practice framework for FASD prevention
Working towards a best practice framework for FASD prevention in Australia
A collaboration between Telethon Kids and Maastricht University, Governor Kremers Centre - Maastricht University
This project aims to contribute to the current body of knowledge by reflecting on programs that aim to reduce prenatal alcohol exposure in Australia. The project will provide an overview of FASD prevention programs in Australia, employing a unifying framework to understand the processes program developers use to move from problem identification to problem solution. This work will enable identification of recommendations for future prevention research and practice aimed at reducing alcohol exposed pregnancies and FASD in the Australian context.
Do you work in prenatal alcohol exposure (and FASD) prevention?
Perhaps your organisation runs support programs for pregnant women? Maybe you are conducting research in the prevention of prenatal alcohol exposure? If so, we would be really interested in hearing from you.
We are after descriptions of programs and/or research that is publicly available or able to be shared. For example, you might have brochures or reports describing your programs. Or you may have evaluation reports to funding bodies or other materials that can be shared with us
